When I was 8 I discovered cake mix cookies. Ever since then it's been one of my VERY favorite cookies. If it weren't for oatmeal scotchies, they probably would be my favorite cookie.
I live in what my science teacher calls "a low alpine desert". Which basically means that winter is very cold and lasts eternity, spring is 1 month (seriously, I'm not exaggerating about this one!) and that it doesn't rain much, and if we didn't have sprinkler systems our yards would look like something you find in the sahara (maybe exaggerating a tiny bit about this one, but really, one of our neighbors moved and in two weeks their beautiful yard was nothing but dry yellow grass and weeds!)
I LOVE muddy buddies. They're a sweet snack mix sometimes known as puppy chow. It's chex cereal coated in a chocolate peanut butter mixture then doused with powdered sugar. It's crazy addictive, super easy, and very versatile.
I'm hoping I won't have to work in a fast food restaurant when I'm a teenager of working age. Because while
it would be great, learning all their secret recipes and whatnot, I
like being able to say, "oh yeah, tomorrow I'm free, I can totally go to
the pool with you" I think I'll have to way step it up on this blog, or
teach piano (really hope it doesn't come to this!)
