This winter the weather has been really weird.
In December it was pretty regular, until Christmas break. There was no snow at all during Christmas break. AT ALL. I didn't have a white Christmas! It's been sort of boring, no sledding, no skiing, no snowmen, snow angels, snowball fights, nothing.
I mean, if it's going to be cold, I should at least be able to entertain myself with the cold. This is the kind of weather we've been having in March.
So when there's nothing to do out side what do you do?
You stay inside and make delicious, warm, cream cheese chili dip.
This is one of my absolute favorite savory dips ever. I was a little hesitant to post it because, it's almost not like a recipe. Because it's only two ingredients.
But, you guys need this in your life because it's insanely good and only takes a few minutes to put together!
It's super easy, it goes great with everything (well, not everything, but you know what I mean), and it overall tastes amazing.
It's just one can of chili and one package of cream cheese. I get the best results with this chili rather than a homemade or thin one. But really, there's no way you can mess this up.
I love this on top of a baked potato, with chips, and it tastes pretty good with french bread too.
Just make it!
Easy Cream Cheese Chili Dip
Only two ingredients, this is super easy, and never fails to disappoint! Perfect for potlucks, or the Superbowl!
Serves: 8 Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time:10 min. Total Time: 15 min.
5 stars *****
Ingredients:
- 1 can chili (around 15 oz.)
- 1 8oz. package cream cheese
- Dump chili into saucepan and heat slowly.
- When chili is semi-cooked, add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Serve.
*thicker chili works best for this recipe
*this can be stuck in the fridge and then reheated. This also works great in a crockpot and is easily doubled
*I like it better with slightly less cream cheese than there is chili

Try it, it's too easy not too!
I hate when there is no snow at Christmastime! It just takes the fun out of everything.
ReplyDeleteThis dip looks SO good!! I love chili...and I bet it would be really good in a dip. I will be making this for the Superbowl! (But I am going to try it tomorrow too!)
Glad to hear your trying it! This is seriously one of the best recipes on here!
