It's been foreeeever since I did a bites of craziness post, so I figured it was time I share it again.
1. Well for starters I had to go back to school and do midterms which totally stunk.
I almost got straight A's, I just got one B in math, which is pretty much what I expected.
2. We got to see some Christmas lights during winter break. I'm just glad some people are overachievers, because my family sure isn't!
3. I made some chunky monkey ice cream, only healthy! It still tastes just as good though!

4. I am OBSESSED with Frozen. Now, I haven't actually seen the movie, but technically I have. Me and my sister have searched all over youtube and seen so many clips that I can discuss the movie in detail with anyone. I have half the movie and all the songs memorized. I'm going to see it in the theaters this weekend though :) Has anyone else seen it?
5. I reshared these cinnamon roll muddy buddies. They're crazy good, and they're SUPER easy to make, try them!

6. So, some news about my basketball team. The season's over :( and we got our team pictures taken for the yearbook. I'm on the yearbook staff and was able to see them before they were handed back to us. They took two photos of me, one good, one bad. They printed the bad one for me, but I still thought it was pretty good.
7. I made a recipe index! It took me a while to figure out, but once I knew what to do it was really easy. Check it out! Sidenote: Would you guys like a tutorial?

8. You probably couldn't tell, but I'm not just a dessert blogger. I also share family favorites and stuff like that. At least that's what I try to do, I don't stick to it very well. I finally shared one of my family favorite's recipes for cream cheese chili dip. Bonus, it's SUPER easy to make and great for potlucks!

9. I love following little known holidays, stuff like Baked Alaska Day, Lucky Penny Day, stuff like that. Today is Hula in a Coola Day (not really sure what this means, but it sounds fun!) Just a rundown of this week, tomorrow is Groundhog Day (not littleknown, but it's important), Monday is Carrot Cake Day, Tuesday is Create a Vacuum Day, Wednesday is World Nutella Day (I'm totally on board with this one), Thursday is National Fro Yo Day, and Friday is National Alfredo Day.
10. Do you watch the superbowl? We're more of a college football family, but my brothers have really wanted to see it this year.
There are three elements to the superbowl: the actual football game, the commercials, and the food. I'm just covering the food part. This year I became a much bigger football fan (go Cougs!) because one of my friends is a HUGE fan, and we started having food during the games at our house.
I've figured out what you need for a successful Superbowl.
A big TV, people to watch it with, and this food.
This dip is great because it's super easy and EVERYONE (seriously everyone) loves it.

Some sort of dessert from the store, not homemade, like donuts or big cookies.
A sweet snack mix like this or this

This dip is also great, seriously only takes 10 seconds to make and is so good I could eat it with a spoon (sometimes I do)

and Lil' Smokies
Have you ever had them? They're mini sausages, and they are AMAZING. There are two awesome ways to eat them. My favorite way is in a crockpot with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce (available at Costco). The other way to eat them is 1 jar of chili sauce, 1 jar of grape jelly. It sounds really weird but it actually tastes really good! The superbowl isn't the superbowl without lil' smokies! The brand my family uses is this one (I think)
Other stuff I know I'll be having is a cheeseball and grape soda!
What are you doing for the superbowl?
